This is the nearly finished landscape that I made on commission this fall. throughout the summer and fall I made many landscapes on site around E central IL, but have not made plans for showings yet. This is the third commission that I made in 2010.
Recently I did a collaborative linoleum print project, myself and 3 others made Lino-cuts and used a press I have to make more than 320 prints. I will try to get good photos to post soon. please let me know what you all have been up to and what you think of my work...and all that!

This is part of the studio practice I have been working on--just making more studies to keep moving.

Hello Arts Barn.
Hoping I'll be able to post more work. Don't have many pictures with me at the moment- this one happened to be in my email. Its a picture of one of the drawings from my show- post framing by my dear Gram.

More Trees

Qi
12"x16"
Ballpoint on paper

This is the commissioned tree, and as a result I didn't take as much risk as I would have otherwise...so, there'll be more to come.  Any suggestions on where to take it?

Growth
2" x 2.25"
Ballpoint on paper

Small moment.  It had a profound effect when matted.  I think I want to do a small series like this in the future.

More Toys!

Hey guys! these are four oil paintings that i finished for this group show my shop had at this little gallery down the street for the month of January. They're all oil paint with a thick glaze on plywood cut down (thanks hampshire woodshop!) and sanded smooth and they're about the size of a normal human hand or so. really fun to sort of take stuff from div iii and push it further and into a new direction (as i can see with the other posts on here too). take care!
